WHAT IS PHENOMENOLOGY? It is the ultimate philosophy of life and since art and life cannot be separated, artists should set examples how to be authentic human being.
There is a world of dreams and fantasy, and there is a world of reality;
There is a world of appearances and there is a world of substance.
PHENOMENOLOGY is the analytical tool you need to expand your perception of reality, be an authentic “Being in the world” (M. Heidegger), make better art, and help make this world a better place to live.

It took the founder 45 years to write this important “Opus Magnum of approximately 2,900 pages.
STATEMENT FROM THE FOUNDER ABOUT THE PHENOMENOLOGY OF ART.
Let me make it clear that everything in life is explainable through concepts and ideas. These two last words are in practice synonymous, except when used in separate contexts. I promise that I am not going to lecture on linguistics at the moment, but I will begin by saying that the word “art” as idea and concept makes no exception from the rule mentioned above. Art is a human concept and like all human concepts, must grow and evolve. My argument proceeds by saying that ideas and concepts rest on reality, advanced intelligence and linguistic capacity. However, one cannot find the concept of art in the “Book of the Dead”, in the Koran, the Torah or the Bible. The epistemological and historical paradox we encounter is when we ask anyone, “What is art?” and no one is able to answer this question. I studied and worked all my life to properly answer this single question and to arrive at a logical explanation that embodies the logic of nature and the potential human intelligence, so that art may regain its prestigious place in society and advance genetic intelligence for the sake of humanity. These goals are scientific reality. The founder’s phenomenological theory is that art, being a complex cognitive experience, improves human intelligence, which exemplifies the need of good art in society. In addition, the theory is substantiated by the fact that this is the best concept of art we humans can have to benefit ourselves.
It seems rather strange that no artist takes example from the Renaissance, when the concept of “humanism” was a precondition of any conceptual work of art. The answer to this problem rests on the failure of art critics and historians to re-contextualize and advance the concept of art instead of rendering it more subjective for mere self-aggrandizement. Barack Obama was right when in 2016 during a speech in a Wisconsin factory mentioned that “it is better to have a specialization than a degree in the history of art.” The natural history of art arising from the true values of life has never been written. What we read in history books is subjective “historicity,” namely, personal little stories emerging from critics and historians, who choose the field of art to play their subjective little games, which provide notoriety and wealth.
About the foundation’s name, ART ABOUT ART stands for ART reflecting on itself and on the reality of the world. This is a message to all artists of the world and an invitation to obtain an expanded and clear perception about the crazy world in which we all live. PHENOMENOLOGY OF ART will help all of us, artists, historians, critics and art administrator to obtain a true perception of the world so that we can develop an effective social criticism to help change it for the sake of that sense of humanity we all cherish in our heart. One cannot certainly help make this world a better place to live by indulging in a state of dreams and fantasies.
ABOUT THE BOOK
OF ART AND ARTEOLOGY – The Reformation of the Concept of art for a Better World, was intended and designed precisely to give art a sense of purpose and direction, which is now due, since art cannot be separated from life and artists cannot continue to live in a world of dreams and turn away from existential reality. The author, being an artist himself and a practical man, spent 45 years researching and gathering material to provide, with this book of 3,000 pages, enough reasons to realign their thought to the purposes of the old “humanism” and make more meaningful art. Since the author firmly believe in the phenomenological reality of life, he tried to interpret quite extensively art from all historical, critical philosophical, scientific, psychological perspectives in order to disprove that contemporary artists are heading in the wrong direction and their message is often insignificant to produce any substantial and beneficial effects upon humanity. The reformation of the concept of art is thus necessary to give some sense to this word and to legitimize the category of fine artists.

A Special Service to the Community.
At the moment, there is not a PHENOMENOLOGY OF ART program in the city of Dallas or in the world. This initiative will serve as an example to fulfill the need to bring the local community of artists to a higher level of production of ideas, to enhance the creative spirit of artists, starting from here and hopefully expanding to the world.
Art About Art Foundation and Gallery will offer local and international artists and scholars of art an outlet to perform or to exhibit innovative work and ideas – an opportunity which presently is offered nowhere else in Dallas or in the state of Texas. The work will range from painting and sculpture to, environmental art, poetry, theater, music, performances, mixed media, lectures, and discussions on the PHENOMENOLOGY OF ART, Art History, Art Theory and Criticism, The Social sciences, Anthropology, Psychology and more.
Nature of the Work.
The PHENOMENOLOGY OF ART stands as a program resting on the essential nature of art whose future and intellectual development may be infinite. The project will explore new sociological ideas that will benefit the entire community. That will include the development of new social theories and new social criticism addressing the final end of a constructive anthropology since the latest scientific findings in genetics and microbiology indicate that complex experience produce more intelligent human beings. This statement reflects the findings to be found in chapter 6 of the founder’s book.
Intent of the Program of studies
The program of studies is designed with the particular intent to provide artists with an outlet for greater social interaction and social criticism in order to stimulate the creativity of the local and international community to contribute with special creative intelligence to operate changes of values in the world. This intent rests primarily on the fact that until now, there has not been enough participation of artists in community and world affairs and that nothing has been done in this direction, which remains out of context. Aristotle said “the good is what all desire,” but the good must be envisioned as a possible reality. It must be understood that more participation in social and world affairs will produce just the right creative atmosphere that will actualize positive changes.
Support for the initiative
Some donors have already pledged substantial support. Dr. Pandozy himself will donate to the foundation his large collection of art work of his entire career.
A regular membership will be instituted as the gallery becomes well known in the community and throughout the state of Texas and the world. Financial support will also be provided by individual members of the foundation and gallery and by the sale of tickets for each lecture and performance, set at a modest price, just to cover the expenses of the operation. In addition, applications for State and National Grants, NEA and NEU will be submitted in order to expand the programs nationwide and eventually include the additional children’s program designed by the founder 30 years ago.
Internship and volunteer help needed.
The public, art schools and Universities are invited to get involved in this program and contribute with their human resources to help launch and operate this exciting and very productive community project.
